The mission of the Connecticut Fire Marshals Association is to provide protection for the public at large by efficient and effective utilization of its resources through education, prevention and code enforcement.

To achieve the highest level of professionalism, ethics and standards for its members through educational programs.

To fairly and impartially enforce state and local codes.
 

To enhance community services and relations through public fire education.
 

To maintain a progressive career development program for CFMA members.
 

To support the review, adoption and enforcement of comprehensive fire and life safety codes to insure the safety of the public at large. This shall include legislation that is consistent with our mission.
 

To foster mutual and collaborative efforts among other organizations with similar interest in fire safety.
