OSFM: John Blaschick stated that the Office is following two bills Raised Bill “363” which deals with Low Level lighting and Raised Bill “106” which deals with Carbon Monoxide detectors in rental Units. “363” while the technology is good and has merit the bill as written is sub par. “106” Is the same issue it is a knee-jerk reaction and is almost unenforceable. John has asked for a senior officer to cover the sworn division as well as making changes in the “A & O” manual to have the I & E Team follow through on the whole investigation rather than just doing origin and cause and turning the Arson over to Major Crimes.
