Good of the Association

A question was raised from the floor on Black Forest Fire Starter Logs. These fire starting logs are designed to look like sticks of dynamite and even are stored in dynamite looking storage box. These are very realistic and a closer look at the item is warranted. A letter will be sent to the OSFM by the BOD.

If 50 Fire Marshals are also members of the ICC we can become our own chapter of the ICC. This is a topic that will be discussed by the BOD on what the merits of becoming a chapter will be.

The members present held a moment of silence for Fire Marshal Hugh Allen of Clinton who recently passed away.

Iggy has finished the Cross Reference Index for the Codes and will be sending it out to Fire Marshals via email in the near future.

The OEDM: website has NFIRS changes that will be instituted beginning January 2008.

With no other business to come before the Association a motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting. Passed 9:33 AM

Respectfully Submitted,
Thomas O’Hare
