Membership Information
If in your profession, business or as an individual, you have a sincere
and abiding interest in reducing injures, loss of life and destruction of
property resulting from fire, and you want to make a difference by taking an
active role, you can’t afford not to be a member of the Connecticut Fire
Marshals Association so why not complete and send in the attached
application now and work with us to reach our mutual and vitally important
goals.
OBJECTIVES
| The goal and objectives of the Connecticut Fire Marshals
Association Are: |
| I. |
Establish effective communications with its members and
all public safety professionals. |
| |
|
| II. |
Proactively represent its members in the development of
international, federal, state and local legislation, regulations and
codes. |
| |
|
| III. |
Support the needs of its membership through education. |
MEMBERSHIP
| Membership in the Connecticut Fire Marshals Association
shall be open to: |
| I. |
State and Local Fire Marshals and their deputies, the
staffs of Fire Prevention Bureaus, Fire Department personnel of all
ranks with a primary interest in fire prevention and officials of the
United States Government, States, counties and municipal charged with
duty of investigating the origin and cause of fires. |
| |
|
| II. |
Individuals who support fully the efforts of the fire
service and this Association to bring about a reduction in the loss of
human lives and destruction of property by fire and the suppression of
Arson. |
